The deadline to place a bench or table for the 2023 Minnesota State Fair has passed as of May 1, 2023. To inquire about placing a bench or table for the 2024 Minnesota State Fair, please contact 651-288-4327.

Recognition Bench – $2,500 contribution

You can personalize the back of one 8-foot bench with 14 characters including spaces. A 7″ x 8″ plaque can also be affixed to the back of the bench for no additional charge.
Benches are placed in one of four zones on the fairgrounds:
- Blue – Area surrounding the Grandstand – includes Dan Patch Park
- Green – North fairgrounds – includes Little Farm Hands and Baldwin Park
- Red – Historic livestock area – includes all barns, Warner Coliseum and CHS Miracle of Birth Center
- Yellow – Southeast fairgrounds – includes Agriculture Horticulture Building, International Bazaar, Bandshell and J.V. Bailey House
The deadline to have a bench placed for 2024 is April 30, 2024
Recognition Table – $5,000 contribution
Table seats can be customized with 14 characters of text including spaces and table tops can have 2 lines of 14 characters including spaces. A 7″ x 8″ plaque can be attached to the bench for no additional charge but must be submitted as a PDF if you are adding more text or photos.
Tables are placed in one of three zones on the fairgrounds:

- Green – North fairgrounds – includes Little Farm Hands and Baldwin Park
- Yellow – Southeast fairgrounds – includes Agriculture Horticulture Building, International Bazaar, Bandshell and J.V. Bailey House

Recognition bricks have been a favorite of Foundation donors throughout the years, so successful that our plazas filled in 2022.
Donations to program areas and for benches and tables are not part of the Friends of the Fair program and are fully tax-deductible.
