Twenty years ago, the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) and the Minnesota State Fair came together to create the Eco Experience. Since then, more than four million fair guests have explored this ever-changing, award-winning exhibit while discovering the latest in sustainability, learning from experts, and finding new ways to be good stewards of the place we call home.
Join us for a special look at 20 years of the Eco Experience. MPCA’s Britt Gangeness and Jeff Stuhr will share how the exhibit became a State Fair favorite, the hundreds of partners who bring it to life, how its content has been creatively “upcycled” over the years, and what’s in store for the future. You may even leave with a sustainability tip or two!
