Over the next couple years, the State Fair is undertaking a huge project; investing an estimated $22 million into the historic Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum. This is the first significant update in the building’s almost 75-year history.
This iconic structure is at the center of youth and open-class livestock exhibitions (including the ever-popular llama costume contest!), horse shows, and dozens of events throughout the year such as car shows, rodeos, antique shows and more. The renovation will include improved seating and lighting, expanded restrooms, and behind-the-scenes enhancements that ensure a better experience for everyone—from show-ring champions to wide-eyed spectators.
You can be a part of this project too! With a focus on accessibility, your gift will go towards creating two accessible ramps to the seating area of the Warner Coliseum. If you’d prefer to leave your mark on the fairgrounds, we launched a new recognition opportunity to support these renovations—the ability to personalize a new arena seat!
