The Minnesota State Fair has an outstanding history of strengthening Minnesota education and culture. The educational and social purpose of the fair is to showcase Minnesota’s finest in agriculture, art and industry and to present an unparalleled forum for knowledge and ideas. The State Fair has a long history of being independently funded and does not receive government support.
Since 2002, the Foundation has granted significant funds to the Minnesota State Fair to improve buildings, grounds and educational programs. In 2006 alone the State Fair Foundation granted $1.5 million to the State Fair.
No other organization reaches out to such a broad Minnesota audience with so many diverse educational and social experiences as does the State Fair. The fair blends rural and urban; serves you and old; crosses all income levels; ad provides the finest in agriculture art, music and industry.
The accomplishments of the State Fair Foundation have enhanced the offerings of the State Fair and, with your support, will continue to do so for years to come.
