State Fair Story
“For some people, it's The Food. For others, The Rides. For my sister and me, it's The Benches. We go to the fair together at least once a year, sometimes with lots of other family members. The two of us are usually very content to sit and watch--in fact, people-watching is my favorite fair activity.
So while the kids do endless rides on the Midway, or while our other sister looks for all the ribbons she's won in the Creative Activities building, or while everyone else is in line for mini-donuts, we find a perfect bench and settle in.”
