Support Agricultural Education
The State Fair offers facilities and programs that celebrate agricultural excellence and connect today's consumers with agriculture. Many State Fair visitors are several generations removed from the family farms of our grandparents' generation. Donors who restrict gifts to Agricultural Education will help improve State Fair agricultural and horticultural facilities, programs and competitions.
Support Cultural and Artistic Expressions
Foundation donors have the opportunity to support State Fair performances and competitive offerings in art, dance, music, theater, creative activities and related areas. Contributions will support programs that give fairgoers access to the greatest breadth of artistic expressions.
Support Educational Enrichment
The State Fair is a place for all to learn through a variety of educational experiences. The fair gives visitors learning experiences in areas like agriculture, history, horticulture, science, industry and art. Foundation donors support the overriding purpose of the Minnesota State Fair as expressed in the 1911 Agricultural Society creed:
"The State Fair is a mirror of Minnesota greatness, a school for her citizens, and a place where all are welcome, entertained and experience the results of the best thought and effort in all lines of endeavor."

The State Fair offers a fairgrounds that is universally accessible, green and welcoming with visitor amenities, energy efficiencies and beautiful landscaping such as plazas, shade, seating and gardens.
Support History and Heritage
The State Fair celebrates our history, heritage and traditions through preservation of buildings and archival materials. With more than 150 years of history, the State Fair has generations of family stories and connections that our essential to our great Minnesota culture.
