Kay Cady, Executive Director

Kay came to the Minnesota State Fair Foundation in May 2004. She has over 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership in Minnesota at Augsburg College, Courage Center and for Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota. She brings expertise in nonprofit management, development, public relations, marketing and volunteer management.

Kay is from South Dakota where she graduated from the University of South Dakota and started her career as a newspaper reporter at the Sioux Falls Argus-Leader. Raised in central South Dakota, Kay's family members farmed for several generations and she participated in the 4-H programs, giving her an excellent fit for State Fair Foundation leadership.

Lindsay Dickson, Development Manager

Lindsay manages components of the fundraising program, including special campaigns, program funds and donor events. Originally from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Lindsay attended Saint Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota and graduated with a degree in social science and public relations. Lindsay volunteers for a variety of community organizations, ranging from farmers markets and nordic skiing to her alma mater.

Jennine Duda, Foundation Operations Manager

Jennine oversees office administration, earned income, and finance and manages volunteers. Jennine is originally from Mound, Minnesota, and is a graduate of the University of South Dakota (BA) and the University of St. Thomas (MBA). Jennine has worked in a variety of industries, from publishing to catering, and has held positions in other Twin Cities nonprofit organizations.

Jesse Poppe, Annual Giving and Communications Coordinator

Jesse markets and communicates the Foundation mission, programs and projects through events, mailings and social media, and is responsible for the annual giving fundraising program. Jesse is from Madison, WI and attended the University of Minnesota, graduating with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Jesse worked for the Minnesota State Fair with off-season events for over three years before joining the Foundation's team.
